Personal Background

Born and raised in northern California, Kevin married his wife in 1990, and moved to the Portland area in 2004. Although they have no children of their own, Kevin and Danna are a very active uncle and aunt to their many nieces and nephews. Kevin also enjoys playing baseball, bicycling, and cooking dinner for friends.

Professional Background

Initially a public defender and private defense attorney in northern California, Kevin became a deputy district attorney in Mendocino, California in 1999. He has extensive trial experience, including several successful homicide trials with life-in-prison sentences.

Shifting to private practice in 2006, Kevin continues to do criminal law but has focused more on developing a practice as a civil litigator. Since joining the Luby Law Firm in an Of Counsel position, he has done extensive research and motions work on a variety of issues related to construction disputes, contract and lease disputes, and property use.
