Edward F. (Ted) Luby is a graduate of St. Louis University with B.A. in History and later the School of Law. He is a member of the Missouri Bar and The United States District Court of the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. He is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice, Missouri Trial Lawyers Association respectively, and National Consumer Attorneys.

Ted Luby founded his law firm after working for a few small law firms and then learning the craft of criminal defense from the late Charles M. Shaw one of the most experienced criminal defense lawyers in the Midwest. Mr. Luby has handled such successfully complex criminal prosecutions such as murder, robbery, drug offenses, sex crimes, and various white-collar crimes in both Federal and State Courts. In the civil arena, the firm practices in the area of personal injury, products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death and toxic tort litigation. We have handled a diverse amount of damage claims including most recently handling environmental claims for residential home owners subject to a chemical spill and a substantial recovery for numerous tenants claiming property damage due to mold exposure, and violation of consumer fraud statutes. The Luby Law Firm handles a complex variety of both civil and criminal matters and prides itself on the diversity of its litigation experience.

Phil Dennis, while maintaining his own law firm, has worked with The Luby Law Firm on numerous lawsuits and jury trials. Mr. Dennis attended the University of Missouri and University of Missouri Law School. In his own right, Mr. Dennis successfully litigated numerous cases in different states. More recently Mr. Dennis obtained a complete acquittal of homicide charges for his client in North Carolina.

In the Civil arena, Mr. Dennis has handled a vast matter of complex real estate matters in litigation. This includes, but is not limited to, commercial development and business disputes. Mr. Dennis also maintains a general practice including criminal defense, domestic relations, tenant disputes, personal injury, including auto mobile accidents, slips and falls, medical malpractice, contract disputes, foreclosure defense, employment discrimination, and toxic torts.
